Monthly Sundowner Timour Hall, Plumstead, Cape Town

Informal Functions: Western Cape Branch meets on the first Monday of every month at Timour Hall situated at the end of Timour Hall Road, Plumstead, Cape Town. We gather in the bar which has a wall dedicated to the BSAP memorabilia, it usually starts at 18h00 but some members arrive from 17h00. Timour Hall was built in the 1700`s and has a long history starting out as a farm homstead, it is now run by the International Police Association and has a variety of very reasonable priced accomodation on site, IPA members get a discount others pay slightly more. It covers a large piece of ground with local wildlife in abundance roaming around. Early booking for rooms is essential, preferably some months in advance. It is well worth a visit to see the original furniture and unique paintings as well as being fairly central to stay over in. To book accomodation or to arrange a visit contact Chris Huysamen 021-7972582 or on timour@mweb.co.za.

A highlight of our social calendar is the annual Christmas party, which takes place at Timour Hall on the first Monday in December. A large number of raffle prizes are on offer. A meeting also takes place on the first Monday in January, at which we particularly welcome members and guests who are enjoying a holiday break in the Cape.
