Death of 4041 Allen Day: Sadly I have to report that 4041 Allen Day passed away in Morecambe, Lancs on Monday 12th. July 2010 as a result of a stroke aged 88 years. Allen was in the Navy before attesting into BSAP in 1946. He was one of the first onto the Beaches in Normandy on Beach clearance duties. Allen started the North West group of the BSAP Ass. UK.

Accomodation
sought: Can you Help?:
I am a sober, non-smoking mature individual who served in the BSAP between
1972 and 1980. I am planning to work in the UK and am seeking accommodation
for 2 or 3 nights every fortnight and wondered if anyone might have a spare
bedroom to spare for me to rent at a reasonable price and to use as a base
between assignments. The Agency (Consultus Care) is situated in Tonbridge,
Kent and it would be really great if the accommodation could be within short
travelling distance from Tonbridge. Any assistance would be much

Waterfalls:
After all these years may I send greetings to those who served with me at
Waterfalls in 1960 and 1961 , especially Paddy Allen who was a quite
