The Battle for Hurungwe is a well recommended read and students of insurgency conflict and more specifically Zimbabwe’s liberation history or the Rhodesian Bush War will find this book interesting. It’s a refreshing change to the generally definitive regimental histories, but perhaps goes a little against the grain of “Rhodie-think”....

25 July, 2020 No commentSeveral years back when the www.bsap.org website was totally revamped, the Web Administrator chose to use a WordPress plugin to handle the BSA Police Bibliography.
The book reviews are not a popular visiting point, based on the statistics. New books concerning the history of the BSA Police or authored by former policemen have not been processed, as they should have been on the site, principally due to lack of time on the web administrator’s part. The way the lists have been set up is a bit of overkill and it does not allow user interaction.
It is the intention to downgrade the database to a simple SQL database.
Below the is a table in formation which shall ultimately contain all the books of interest to those who have an interest in the BSA Police. Visitor reviewing the table may wish to add books missing from the listing by using the forms below the table. The listing is a filtered listing and filtering is achieved by entering words on the last row of the table.
