The Mashonaland Branch held is Annual General Meeting on Sunday 30 May 2021 at the Nomads Gold Club premises in Newlands.  Sixteen members were in attendance.  COVID restrictions applied.   The Hon. Secretary opened the meeting, reading the notice.   Members were upstanding in memory of former Mashonaland members, and those former members resident in the area, who had passed to higher office.   Bill Linfield, Chairman of the branch, presented his annual report to members and this was adopted.   The Treasurer, Andrew Field, table the financial statements of the Mashonaland Regimental Association for adoption.   

Members acknowledged the work of the Almoner during the year and special thanks were also extended to Kerry Kay for the assistance she provided during the year to the many members who sought or requested welfare assistance.  Both members of the Branch and non-members were assisted during the year.

The Chairman offered the Mashonaland Association’s congratulations to Andrew Field on his elevation to the post of President of the Regimental Association and Chairman of the Constitutional College.   Andrew spoke about the College and the purpose that it serves.  The meeting ratified recent amendments to the Regimental Association Constitution.

Nominations for the Office Bearers for the forthcoming year were called for and the following were elected:
